First off, if your course doesn’t have a seven-digit number or TrainingPro ID, don’t panic! If you see your course listed with a C-record number (a “C-” plus a string of four to five numbers), your course is approved.
TrainingPro was the previous course management system that the Express Program used before our switch to the Express Provider Portal. TrainingPro automatically generated a seven-digit ID number for each course that was approved, which we refer to as a “TrainingPro ID.” We used TrainingPro for several years, so if a course has been approved and offered by a provider at any point any time before the migration (before November 2023), it likely has a TrainingPro number.
That means for any course that was submitted and approved for the first time only on the Express Provider Portal, a seven-digit TrainingPro number will not be generated.
Important note: All training providers, regardless of how long their courses have been approved for Express Program reimbursement, should communicate the C-record number, not the TrainingPro ID, to their clients to facilitate the application process.
