When the new portal launches, there will not be an immediate impact on the application process. However, there will be some minor adjustments to how our application works in the following weeks. Here is what applicants can expect:
- Our application will now be directly connected to our approved directory listing. This means your course must be approved in your Express Provider Portal for an organization to submit an application for funding of your course. If the course is expired or pending review, the organization will not be able to apply for your course until it is approved.
- Instead of utilizing TrainingPro ID’s, your courses will now utilize something called a C-record number, which will look something like this:
C-8543
- The C-record number associated with the course is the new value organizations will enter when they are applying for a course. You will be able to view your new c-record value next to your approved courses in your Express Provider Portal*. We will also have the TrainingPro ID that was formally associated with the course.
- When you add new courses to the Express Provider Portal, they will not be given a TrainingPro ID, just a c-record number. That will be the identifying number for courses going forward.
*We are currently working on a tool/resource for applicants where they can type in the TrainingPro ID to locate the c-record value associated with the course. This tool/resource will be connected to the application to assist applicants, and our team will also be on hand to support folks when applying.
