My employee wants to take a course approved under the Express Program. Who pays up front for the course, the business or the employee taking the training?

Modified on Mon, Aug 19 at 11:17 AM

The Express Program provides employers fast, simple access to grant-funded training, helping businesses in Massachusetts respond to emerging needs.

Because employers are the grant recipients, only employers can seek reimbursement once training has been completed and paid for in full.

If your company's policy is to have employees pay for their own training up front, the training may not be eligible for reimbursement through the Express Program or may be subject to additional documentation requirements.
