I am being asked to provide a course outline before my course is preapproved. What do I need to provide for this?

As part of our standard review process of courses submitted to the Express Training Directory, you may be asked to provide a course outline/syllabus to the Express Program team for review. You may be asked to provide a course syllabus for a few different reasons, but it's generally to confirm the course meets our course eligibility guidelines. To review our full set of course guidelines, you can review our Training Provider Manual (additional guidance can also be found here).

A course outline should be a simple per-hour listing of the topics covered and instructional methods used (e.g. group discussion, lecture, etc.), broken out for every hour of instruction. The number of instructional hours described in the outline should match exactly the Total Training Hours in your course listing. To see an example course outline, please see that attachment at the end of this FAQ. (Note: this is an example outline and is not a real course that is preapproved with the Express Program.)
